Weekly COVID-19 Update from NAC

First, NAC hopes that you and your families, employees, friends and clients are safe and well. It’s times like these when we all realize what is truly important, and that is doing what is right and protecting those closest to you.

As part of our extended family, please know that we are here to help and support you through these unprecedented times. As we move forward, I plan to provide you all with a weekly status report on National Auto Care. With all that you have to deal with, let me assure you that NAC is one less thing that you need to worry about.

We are in a strong financial position, and we are taking steps to be even stronger. Let me say that again – we are in a strong financial position! You can anticipate that commissions and overrides will be paid, just as they were prior. Cancelation processing, as well as claims checks, will be paid weekly, and you will see no disruption, other than the possibility of delays that are out of our control, like mail or overnight delivery. I would strongly suggest that if you have not already set up electronic payments, you should do so.

Our claims and customer support teams are operating at full capacity working remotely and exceeding our ASA goals. While we are seeing some slowdown in new claim calls – “about 20%” – we are not seeing the slowdown or total shut down that other industries are seeing. Clearly, we would anticipate a slowing, but at this point, it looks like dealers are doing all they can to support their customers and their businesses.

Our sales and support associates are 100% engaged and will continue to fully operate to support you on new and pending deals. Last week, our partners added over 20 new dealers to the NAC family. In addition, last week we hosted several webinars with great attendance. We will continue these training events and already have several scheduled this week. Please reach out to your Regional Representative for more information and be sure to keep an eye out for continued emails from us as we schedule more of these sessions.

As we approach the end of March, I want to assure all our partners that we will indeed be accepting checks for month-end while continuing to practice COVID-safe work protocol. Please reach out to me or our FAST Team at 800-548-1875, option 4, if we can be of any assistance.

Lastly, on a personal note, I wanted to say we are thinking about each and every one of you. These are the times when those who did and do the right things will come out of this stronger and wiser. I know how much this has and will test us, but together we will survive and thrive in the years to come.
