About National Auto Care

NAC is one of the longest operating providers of products such as vehicle service contracts, guaranteed asset protection, limited warranty, tire and wheel and a full suite of ancillary protection products nationwide.

NAC provides F&I products, administration, consulting services, training and marketing support to independent agents, insurance companies, auto dealers, RV dealers, powersports dealers, financial institutions, third-party administrators, and credit unions. We currently provide these administrative services to over 5,000 dealerships, credit unions, and financial institutions.

National Auto Care was recently named a Top Workplace in Central Ohio for the fourth year running and was honored with 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 Dealer’s Choice Awards for F&I Products. In 2023, National Auto Care was acquired by APCO Holdings, LLC.

Finbarr O’Neill

Executive Chairman

Finbarr O’Neill

Finbarr (“Fin”) O’Neill joined the Board of APCO in February 2018 and was named CEO &Chairman in May 2019. Fin has over 20 years of experience as CEO with various companies in the automotive industry. Most recently, Mr. O’Neill was President and CEO of J.D. Power. In his 10 years with J.D. Power, Fin helped lead the firm through a period of dramatic expansion into data & analytics, and integration of strategic acquisitions including the NADA Used Car Guide and the used car pricing consumer website National Appraisal Guides. Previously, he served as CEO of Hyundai Motor America where he helped lead a brand turnaround, Mitsubishi North America, and Reynolds & Reynolds.‍

Tony Wanderon

Tony Wanderon

Tony Wanderon was named CEO of APCO in 2023. He has more than 32 years in the industry as an Agent, Administrator and Executive for a Fortune 50 company and has spearheaded or been involved in many public and private sale transactions of companies he has led. Throughout his career, Tony has been an innovator and leader in the automotive F&I industry, pioneering several F&I products including GAP and Trade-In Protection and developed the first successfully integrated dealer-owned Personal Lines Insurance Agency.

John Lee

John Lee

John Lee joined APCO in 1991 with the primary responsibility of developing and managing APCO’s insurance relationships and risk management policies and procedures. He was promoted to President in 2003 after having served in various positions, including Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining APCO, John was a Claims Manager at General Group International and Maryland Casualty Company. He holds a B.A. from Furman University and an Honorary Degree in Foreign Studies from Kansai Gaidai University in Hirakatashi, Japan.‍

Bob Haeffner

Bob Haeffner

Bob joined APCO in 2022 as Chief Financial Officer. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in finance and accounting with a deep understanding of the automotive retail industry. Bob brings a wealth of industry experience in accelerating growth and raising capital, strategic business planning, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Bob comes to APCO with significant financial executive experience in consulting and the automotive sector. Most recently, he served as Vice President and CFO of Southeastern Toyota Distributors, LLC. He received his master's degree in business administration from the University of Miami and his bachelor's in economics and management from Trinity College in Deerfield, Ill.‍

Courtney Hoffman

Courtney Hoffman

Courtney Hoffman drives APCO’s organic and inorganic growth engines, overseeing our national sales teams, agent partnerships, post-purchase sales, and a robust F&I training program. Courtney will also guide APCO's M&A growth plan,building on recent acquisition gains. She brings over 25 years of industry experience in Claims, Operations, OEM/strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and sales leadership.‍

Christina Schrank

Christina Schrank leads Claims and Operations with a laser focus on providing the service and support our customers deserve and expect. Over her 25+ years with the company, Christina has held the roles of Operations Supervisor, Director of Operations, VP of Marketing and Customer Support, and COO of NAC. She holds a degree in Business Administration and has been honored several times by industry publications for her contributions to the industry.‍

Erika Ahern Curran

Erika Ahern Curran

Erika joined APCO in 2023 as Chief Legal Officer. She brings nearly 25 years of experience to her role, most recently serving as Chief Counsel for Assurant’s Global Auto Business Unit. Previously, Erika served as the General Counsel for a division of CNA Insurance and before that spent twelve years serving in a variety of legal, claims, and business roles at Allstate. Erika began her career as a trial attorney in Chicago where she litigated over a dozen jury trials. She is a member of the Bar in New York, Illinois, and Arizona. Erika holds a J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Siena College.

David DeCredico

SVP of Reinsurance

David DeCredico

David DeCredico joined APCO as its Vice President for Reinsurance Programs in 2004 after spending the early part of his career in Public Accounting. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University and a Master’s of Science in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. David is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant. In 2007, in addition to managing EasyCare’s Dealer Reinsurance programs, he took on primary responsibility for Program Development and managed the relationships with all of APCO’s OEM and other private labels.‍

Spencer Wanderon

Spencer Wanderon

Spencer Wanderon leads APCO’s indirect agency channel nationally, supporting partners in growing their business and driving success in their agency. Spencer and his team employ a responsive relationship-building approach that separates them from the pack and makes them the best in the industry. He holds a Bachelor’s in Finance & Economics from the University of Alabama. His twin girls motivate him to be the best he can be.‍

JENNIFER HADDOW

VP, Marketing

JENNIFER HADDOW

Jennifer Haddow brings over 20 years of experience leading marketing strategy and execution, focusing on brand positioning, targeted demand generation, and sales enablement for the APCO Holdings family of brands. She joined APCO in 2015 as Director of Marketing, then Senior Director of Marketing Operations in 2019, and was promoted to Vice President of Marketing in 2023. Prior to joining APCO, Jennifer led creative services for a global medical technology company and held various marketing roles at mortgage services and lending technology companies. She holds a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Georgia.

YAHAIRA CALERO

VP, Human Resources

YAHAIRA CALERO

Yahaira Calero is an empowering leader with nearly 20 years of experience in human resources, business operations, and customer service within the automotive industry. She joined APCO in 2022 as Director of HR Operations and was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources in 2023. In her current role, Yahaira supports APCO’s leaders with a unique perspective and appreciation that human capital is every organization’s most important asset. Before joining the APCO team, her roles included HR Relationship Manager and various operational roles at JM Family Enterprises. Yahaira received her MBA from Florida Atlantic University and her bachelor's in criminal justice from John Jay College in New York City.
